ABSTRACT: Can / does improvisation exist within architectural practice[s]? Developing from collaborative research between SARC [Sonic Arts Research Centre] and SPACE [School of Planning, Architecture, and Civil Engineering], Translations; Improvisation / Architecture, will consider creative potential and transferability of established artistic, theatrical, and musical improvisational theories and techniques within spatial practices.
